About Me
Earwig Emporium comes from a combination of our nickname for our motorhome and my love of alliteration.
After the closure of Sticks and Stones at the beginning of the of the Covid virus pandemic, I thought I'd hung up my jewellery tools and beads but I was wrong......
Ideas for sun catchers had always lurked in the background but now into full sunlight came the first few pieces. The wood that I use for the main struts comes from my worldwide driftwood collection. I have collected interesting pieces forever and now with some sanding paper and varnish they were ready to go. The addition of a wide variety of themes and beads created the sunbeam catchers that I love making.
I can design and make any size, any colour theme and quirkiness that anyone could want.
The jewellery now has the same kind of diversity and I use a huge range of semiprecious stones and wooden beads to make necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
